I’m the only one up. I curl up on the couch with my sweet girl by my side. I love that she is a snuggle bug! The sun is shining in the window. All I can hear are crickets & birds as I watch tiny little hummingbirds zooming in and out of the trees to the feeder for a quick snack.
With the kids still in the last couple weeks of school, the park is so quiet. Soon our little slice of heaven will be bustling with the sounds of kids playing and it will be full of vacationers making the most of summer. I love that as well…it reminds me of the summers my sisters and I would spend at the family cottage having fun with cousins and friends all day…every day.
So…I will take advantage of these quiet peaceful days for as long as I can. It’s because of days like this that make me LOVE my Northern life! ❤️
